"My wife and I just moved to North Carolina, and needed to switch our insurance from Colorado to here. I googled State Farm and Chad Sittig agency came up and the reviews were great, so I decided to give them a call. Upon calling, Traci answered and was incredibly professional, down to earth and kind. She invited us into the office so that we could get everything squared away. Once we got there and she pulled up our account, we found out that the agency in Colorado had not set it up to give us the best deal, and although we were married and questioned not having the accounts combined, the agency in Colorado had assured us we didn't need to do this, and that we were still going to get the multi car discount. Traci pulled up our account and was able to combine all of our vehicles into one account and save us a ton of money for which we are eternally grateful for, even though this was not an easy task. She also connected us up with a real estate agent so that when we get ready to buy a house, we will be good to go! Thank you Traci for your utmost kindness and professionalism! You reassured us we picked the right State Farm! You were one of the only positives to moving here."

"I called today for help with renters and flood insurance questions and spoke with Michael Anderson. He went above and beyond to ensure I had all the information I needed with complete accuracy and Convenience! I was concerned about what all my current policy covered with the upcoming storm and not only did he help me with the additional coverage I needed he showed empathy and understanding along the way. This is why I love my insurance agency and highly recommend them!!"

"Truly the worst customer service I have ever experienced Was with them for over 15 years, when I first signed up for multiple services(business, auto, home, etc), the agents were great. Over the years, getting needed information, and having emails ignored became a huge issue. Most recently I have had to go in person to even get needed action taken on my account. If you call, they wont get back to you, if you email good luck hearing back. Customer service from the main manager is horrendous and I even CC Chad Sittig himself on some emails I was getting nowhere with (that Juli was ignoring) and never heard a word of action from him. Does he even exist? Who knows. I should have cancelled all policies with them years ago, but I finally had a situation that was Sittig agency's fault and they took zero accountability. Even blaming their oversight on other colleagues (Juli Blaming Traci), and then on the fact that they (Juli) have too many clients to pay attention! Wild times. Happily with another agency now that return calls ASAP and provides an actual person to work with me... not a "team" that I have to repeat my needs to each time. They were even rude and abrupt with my new agency when switching over. New agency was also baffled at the unprofessionalism. So glad to be rid of them. Wish I had done it sooner. Look at how they reply to other negative reviews on here also, this is how you actually will be spoken to as a customer by if you ever need more help from them after sign up. Reply to update: I don't want to engage with the agency any further. Juli had plenty of opportunity to care and do a better job over the last many years. I believe that if the agency wanted to see how well Juli and staff get back in touch with people you could go through her emails and see how many times clients have to follow up to get a reply. Not being able to locate any emails sent checks out. Highly unorganized organization."

Update - we have searched for emails and your account with this agency and cannot find your account. "I have been with this State Farm since 2018 and I can not say enough good things about them. Specifically Ms Traci, she has ALWAYS been wonderful. "Worst business to deal with, my mom call regarding rate increase but told my mom return my sister license. We got a better deal and my mom went to cancel. Tracy and the other lady ask my mom to sent the other progressive insurance information which was private. My mom has the insurance policy information and show it to them but they want to see the entire policy information. I told my mom to ask why, but they never answer her. Because the lady Tracy knows is private information and it should not be share. They kept insisting they need to see the other insurance policy information. So my mom call me about it and they took her phone sent the insurance information to them selves. I talked to Tracy on the phone to ask why they need the other insurance company policy information. She change the subject to I need prove of cancellation from progressive. I called progressive and they told me they already sent the information regarding and it should already be automatically sent as well. My mom told me after they saw that my dad is not on the new policy, the lady Tracy treated to report my dad but my dad is not home and does not drive the car so that why we took him off. Want to give people head up what they have to deal with!!! Know the rule and regulations!! She even rebuke my mom that if your daughter knows so much why don’t she work with insurance policy!!!"

"This information is completely false. Normally we only speak with the named insured, which is not you. When a person wants to cancel, we have a cancellation process which helps all parties involved. Your new insurance company should know the proper forms to send to us, you can always go online, send a detailed email or stop by the office for us to better assist. Again, the main reason for our protocol is so that there is coverage in the event of a claim and to avoid any fees associated with a canceled vehicle that the department of insurance would charge for."

"I hope anyone reading this does not believe the defensive responses they give when they get a poor review for their poor customer service. Please do not fall for it. They may make it easy to sign a policy and take your money, but outside of taking money they are unable to handle any other tasks. They also have google remove bad reviews. So just FYI, a lot of people have left accurate reviews regarding their poor customer service, that have come down. They are right , I am no longer a customer. But I'm still going on several months of over charges with no refund or return communication. They are VERY quick to respond to google reviews, but never phone calls or emails. If only they worked on reimbursing their customers for "accidental charges" as hard as they worked on their google reviews."

"Update - We do not possess the capability to remove Google Reviews. We process every request from clients while adhering to the governing insurance requirements of North Carolina. We want to clarify that the information in your review is inaccurate. Your policies were transferred to another state upon your request, which means you were no longer working with this office and we had no access to your account. Claims and processing are handled by the corporate team, not at the local level. While we strive to be available and helpful to all our clients, we cannot tolerate disrespectful behavior toward our staff, including hanging up during conversation. Our team brings over 50 years of combined experience, and while we do employ part-time staff, they are trained and committed to providing excellent service. "

"I recently moved to New Bern. I had received quotes from two other major companies, both very expensive. I felt they were more interested in making money than helping me with the coverage l needed. Traci was actually interested in helping ME. She knows her stuff. I bought full coverage for home and auto. I truly liked Traci and her manner of business and knowledge. "Quick service, very friendly until you ever need to speak to them again. Once they have your money it's a fight to even get a return phone call. She set up a single home flood policy for me and yet knew I lived in a condo. Costing me almost double what it should have. Talked to someone else in the office after leaving message for my agent and was told they would look into it. Never heard from them again. I switched to a new insurance co. Over a month ago and let them know with all documentation they required to end my coverage on the 12th of the month yet they still took my automatic payment for the entire month. Shop around they're not going to look out for you!"

"The information that you provided is completely inaccurate. Our office spoke with you a dozen times over the past two months. Clarification of a condo unit is necessary because many of these units have to be insured as a dwelling depending on the HOA. Also, billing is not handled locally."
